Simply lovely - Great use of detail and strong and Pug are one of my favourite couples and I was delighted to find this.

Another great chapter. Thank you for carrying on the story where the book left off. You carry on the essence of the characters and I love your dialogs and feelings. I have thought a lot about how Natalie and Louis would recover after the war. Victor and Pam having a baby is just so right. Thanks again for sharing your ideas. I hope very much that there will be more.

This is another great chapter in the Victor and Pamela saga. A good side story to Winds of War. The author obviously invested a lot of time and thought into this writing. One unique aspect is that the opening paragraph is from Louis' perspective. This makes a thoroughly realistic connection to the original story and one quite frankly, that I hadn't thought of. The author incorporates Natalie's struggle with coming to terms with her ordeal of living through the Holocaust and the aftermath that experience wreaked on her physical as well as mental condition.

The focus of the writing however, is the news that Pamela and Victor are going to have a child. The author explores their emotions about this news and comes off as totally believable given how Pam and Victor were portrayed in the original writing.

This was an excellent piece and I look forward to more from this author. Great dialogue!
