Sad that this hasn't been updated in years, I hate when I find a good BattleTech crossover its always abandoned. Do hope you come back to this or perhaps someone picking up where you left off

Man, one of the better crossovers I've read. Too bad it appears to be abandoned, would love to see it continued.

So a bit late, and a rewrite would pretty much out of the question but... ME 'shields' are in actuality kinetic barriers. Basically they only interact with physical objects i.e. projectiles and possibly plasma to a certain extent, though it's ability to stop plasma would depend on how powerful that plasma was and how quickly it dissipated after impact. My guess is that anything from the BT universe would cut through most KB's with relative ease and only run into any real obstacle with heavy KB's on capital ships. Lasers wouldn't even slow down, so the scene with the fighters attacking the pirate ships would have ended pretty much how the infantry scene did, just big gaping holes in the hull of the pirates ship. Especially that pulse laser.

It's a shame their hasn't been update to this story in a very long time, love battletech and finding crossovers with it. Though very rare find one that is long and complete. I love how the quarian flotilla and star league exodus fleet managed to get along and see eye to eye. It's like the two of them were made for each other. I do hope that you come back and update this story or perhaps someone inspired by this story finishes it or makes one themselves

We both enjoyed this fic but we find it a shame that author hasn’t updated in years. So hard find a good battletech crossover and most ones we enjoy always seem to be hiatus or cancelled. We hope one day you come back to this or perhaps another writer be inspired by this and try create a unique crossover like this with battletech universe

I know this is years old, but I still want to point out that kinetic barriers turn on when they detect incoming fire and given that their ships only fire a handful of missiles at a time and some of them still hit the target in ME fluff, I'm pretty sure twenty missiles will get quite a few through.

Okay, that part about the battle was badly written. It was clearly from the perspective of two different groups, but with no differentiation between the different parties involved. For example, it expressed Batarian amazement at the humans' attacking warships, but then had a quote from the humans immediately after.

Welp, it's been fun, but this is where we part ways. I don't normally stick around for the stuff with Shepard, and you didn't get far enough into it anyway. No offense.

It also occurred to me that my last review, should you ever read it, could be taken as being somewhat rude. I apologize for that. That wasn't my intention.

Okay, it was a great fic until this chapter. I had several problems with it. The first was that, for some reason, the quality has noticeably dropped in the past couple chapters. The second was that, in the "magazine article", you swapped fluidly between past and present tense, which is almost always a deal breaker for me. I stuck that out, though, until I reached the absurdity that was your concept of missile combat. Missiles are not dangerous because of their mass. The debris created by a missile would be of approximately equal danger as a large micrometeorite. A missile is dangerous solely because of its payload. IT EXPLODES. If you damage the missile, it either explodes early, or is damaged in such a manner that the payload won't go off. Debris is not an issue. And if, for some bizarre reason, it was, why would intercepting it with countermissiles be more effective? The debris is still created by the new one.

Batarians are officially FUCKED! Probably along with quite a few others.
