This means that since nobody has actually heard the voice of God who can say what it sounds like.

Why is it hypothetical questions never are hypothetical? Anyways, I like the idea of the Scoobies designing a magical contract with Spike as opposed to Xander just getting the chip removed. Different avenues are always good. And hey, Spike can now date Xander! Now instead of the Gang freaking out on removing the chip they can freak out over that. Although Dawn and a few others will obviously be in favor of it all.

I don't think I've heard of this being proposed before. What an elegant solution.
