That last part was a bit too abrupt. Things just went a little too fast... It just seem a little weird Itachi would start crying. It wasn't like it was much of a painful separation. It might have been painful for Itach. But I don't think it was not really there... not in the sense where the two are desperately trying to hold on to each other while they are being pull apart. I just feel Itachi's tears are being misplaced. Everything just happened so fast, did he really have enough time to process everything that happened for him to start crying?
I guess he might have since he had sometime... but... eh... Naruto is gone. But not like he is dead or anything.

So how is Akatsuki split right now? Pein and that plant guy is following Madara right? Anyone else?

Damn, so Madara has Naruto in his control now, huh? That sucks. I'm guessing he's going to use it against Itachi, what with the 'two new eyes' comment. I wonder if the mate thing will impair that any? I don't see Madara taking too lightly to the new group, but it might have been planned as more of a distraction to give him access to Naruto.

I personally don't care enough about Madara, Pein and Konan for an indepth story. But others might.

Wow, what an amazingly well written story I found. I haven't read ItaNaru in a while because of my love for another fandom but I came back and just so happened to stumble across this one. I'm so glad I did! Not only did I rediscover my love for this pairing and fandom, but I found an amazing story. I enjoyed reading up to this point, and I hope to read more!
