I have the nagging feeling that Sherlock when through John's pockets every night, taking out anything that could help John in a relationship with someone else (like numbers and stuff). Very VERY cute ending! :D Awesome job on this!

This is another one of your marvelous pieces that I have been keeping so I won't have that awfu feeling I get when I know - I just KNOW - that I've read them all and life is going to be dark and dingy and kindof an off white, greyish reality for probably, oh years..or maybe just days...

SO I saved it and if we could just LIVE at 221B Baker Street for now and always and IF these two Lovely, Lovely men are there and IF neither one of them gets blow up in semtex or drowned in pools or dropped off really tall bldgs (are you listening, bbc?) then everything in the universe would just be a bit all right...

Oh I love it. I love how long it takes John to figure out why he's going through so many girlfriends and that the most important thing doesn't get lost in the raincoat! The ending is absolutely perfect, I can picture Sherlock sitting there so clearly with the paper and being very carefully quiet when John comes in, almost like approaching a dog you aren't sure will be friendly or not... so well done! Thank you for sharing this!

*heart breaks*...that for some reason, was one of the most adorable sentences I have ever heard/read from Sherlocks mouth. So simple but packed with so much.

Fantastically well-developed story. Although it features John's predicaments, Sherlock, for me is the heart of this story. Love his subtly cutting remarks about John's prospecive dates as well as his equally subtle but telling reactions. Unexpected but amusing that Sherlock would know how to properly work a kid's paper fortune toy. Your work is always a joy to read, and this is no exception. Loved it.
