Great story!

Very in character for Kate to seek out Rick after Montgomery's death. Too bad this didn't happen on the show. I liked how she reassures him that she is all in and that she understands the meaning of her actions. The advice she gives him for writing the eulogy is so similar to the advice Rick gave Alexis when it came time for her to write her valedictorian speech. This story came out almost a year before 4x23. Add that to Kate showing up at his door because she needs him ... are you prescient or really AWM writing fanfic for fun? Thank you for a great story!

Wow... I have no words, probably the best making love fic I've ever read, about Castle and Beckett. They're so very in character and the dialogues is perfect and so very them... just wow. I quickly clicked to check for other stories of yours and... just this one about Castle! May I hope... for the future... ? *grins*

What an amazing piece of writing. The sex scene was so well done. It wasn't over the top, but still let us in on their intimate moments. This is now part of my head canon :)

Oh this is my favorite "they did it the night before the funeral theory" fic. Well done! Realistic ( for the situation) and very well written. Smutty, but classy. Tasteful. Beautiful to read, really. :)

Im juste really speachless right now... That was just so incredible.. Ive been reading a lot of post-finale stories, but none lf them were as awesome as yours was... I think you pictured so well the characters in this piece, and I really tried to imagine how it could all go down for real, and I have to say, I had really no idea, but this? This was so in-character! All along!

The sex scene too was really great! And I juste hate when fanfic writers do those noisy-out-of-character scenes! And that wasnt it... That was so perfect it left me breathless... And that part :

"She didn't scream his name or call for God or anything like that. As with everything involving Kate Beckett, it was the subtleties that mattered."

I think it was the best way to end that sex scene... And again, I never saw an endong that well done... It was great!

Ok enough now.. Im on my iPhone and its kinda hard to write but anyway! Thanks a lot for that amazing story and I hope there will be more scenes like that! And well, I hope that the season 4 first episode looks like that! D

Fantastic! I loved this. If there was ever a time they needed each other, it was the night Montgomery was killed. Very well done.

This is just so… Gah, I don’t know. To take the advice of Castle’s lovely muse, writing what I feel, I can say that right now I have kind of mixed feelings about this. At the beginning and the middle, I felt happy, because I didn’t know exactly at what time this took place. I was kind of thinking that this took place after the funeral, but you decided to ignore the whole shooting? Like everything would go on as if that hadn’t happened. When I found out when it actually taking place, I was like ‘no, no, no’ – the same as I was at the end of the season finale. Really sad.

Beautifully written though, and a great story. I like this take on the finale, it’s very original and unexpected. Love it.
