Well I have to say, it's not an easy feat to turn an anime with a premise as viscous as Hellsing into something resembling Twilight. it is an astonishing thing in that it requires dedication and talent to do so, the latter especially, something mosy fic writers lack because writers will often question themselves if their piece has been good enoughonly to decide for themselves later that it is not. But you, dear author, have that kind of naive optimism in you, that fuels your dedication and talent. What's more astonishing than that is the fact that your talent to make vapid, air-headed, empty, and self-insert OC is as good as it is badlike Stephenie Meyer and E.L. James combined. You've turned a manic Alucard into a brooding simp like Edward and Christian Grey; and yet, I didn't want to stop reading. There's a kind of enchanting beauty in disaster, like watching a trainwreck, a car crash, or someone get hit by a truck going at 3mph. That is what your fic has, that sugary kind of romance that appeals to everyone's "inner goddess" who demands attention and a happy ending, so that despite knowing how out-of-character and one dimensional everyone is, the reader still proceeds to read the story through to the last chapter. It's amazing in a twisted way. Some people might not appreciate your E.L. James-ish writing style, but I do. I don't have the kind of talent that you do, and I appreciate you staying true to your writing style until the end (and the sequel, apparently). Believe me, I have seen other pretentious writers trying to "improve" their characters and failing horribly. But yours is at least consistent. After all, what's there to fail when it's already a failure? And you unknowingly took advantage of that! I think I'll come back to read your fic again, especially when I feel like being amused by the ridiculousness of your OC or when I feel down and unimportant and want to escape into a world where I'm special and is the whole world of someone important enough to be the protagonist of a kick-ass anime. Thank you, dear author. Never change.

Really? A monster is literally in front of her and she jump in front of it to shield it from a bullet that wont do shit to it, but will kill her depending on where it hits? Really?

This story is full of cliches and Ruby is one of those almost Bella types characters.

At least she didn't watch the Twilight movies than she is in real big trouble. I don't think to refuse the money is Mary-Sueish since almost all normal middle class would take the money, but the only way I would take it if it was for a family member, who needs meds or something. I wouldn't take it to cover an important operation, but what if they need meds and your very tight on cash. I see myself working hard to cover the expenses for the important operation, but their meds are a separate fee.

I wasn't turning down 20 mil for nothing and no onw LMAO not Mary Sue but not what a normal working class person would do.

The lemony stuff felt rather rushed, in my opinion :/ Even the fluffs in previous chapters were better written and felt more romantic, more intimate, and thus more meaningful. It seemed as if, in this chapter, the sole focus were on the act, and feelings (other than pure lust, that is) were not sufficiently included :/

In my case if someone offered me that much money and I didn't want it either because I felt offended that they offered or I felt like I really didn't disurve it, I would do one of two things. If the people offended me, in this case Hellsing, I would tell them to donate half the money to the Roman Catholic Church and the other half to a blood bank. To both piss them off and still say thank you to the Vampire that saved me. If I felt I didn't deserve it, but wanted the limited protection Sr. Integra offered, I'd take the case of money then give it back saying, "Here is a donation. If you don't want it, give it to charity." Basically donate the money. If possible never even tuch the stuff. If your pissed off, see if you can make then sign their own name on the donation to the Roman Catholic Church.

I've been noticing this for awhile but this is really starting to feel like the plot of Twilight in short form. Everything so far can be fit into the events of the original, even including the girl thinking she looks plain and unattractive while being the most attractive thing in the world to the vampire that thinks she smells extra special... Considering what was just said about their theories and mating being an abomination (reminds me of a certain maid on the twilight honeymoon), I'm almost certain that Ruby is going to get pregnant with a human-vampire hybrid and get turned immediately after giving birth. Hopefully Morris isn't the Jacob of this story. :/
