Very nice. I really like Ziva opening up to EJ, encouraging her to talk to Tony, Tony acknowledging that he flips when Ziva's missing, EJ acknowledging that she can't compete. I like bets, though, Ziva helping and reassuring EJ, telling her it gets better. Nice work.

This is a great story, esp. the scene with ziva and EJ in the shower area, but I think Tony was slightly OOC. And I think you could've broadened the subject on Saleem. Nevertheless, really nice read.

CI-Ray is going to lose Ziva once and for all.

Oh, I like this! It explains at least part of the episode, such as why Tony and EJ were able to part so amicably.

It's also a very different take on things, and I like that Ziva could relate to EJ and could somewhat open up to her. And of course, I love the Tiva :)

Not bad. You nobly resisted the Tiva urge to have a catfight, or an OOC moment, or a weepy moment, or a EJ-totally-sucks moment, and calmly, rationally, and satisfyingly reasonably produced a believable plot in which no character is villified and none is canonized (made a saint) either. Good. That's what I call good.

I have to say, I was upset when I first read it. I was worried it would be a 'Ziva bows out gracefully so Tony can have E.J.' fic. I'm glad it wasn't. Also, the last line was my favorite. Good job!

Omygoodness you do not know how much i wish that the actual episode had ended this way! I think this was actually pretty realistic and close to their characters! The writing was also pretty good! So, overall awesome job!
