I just noticed this, but the fact that Loki's race is matrilineal makes perfect sense, since mythological Loki was always referred to as Laufeyson, even though Laufey was his mother.

Loki, you devil...You wrote him - and his relationship with Thor - very well. This must be the best Thorki mpreg fic around here.

I only have two things to point out: a) why does their child have brown hair and brown eyes? In the films Loki has black hair and green eyes, and Thor has blond hair and blue eyes. If the characters are based on Norse mythology, then again the colours of the child should be different.
b) Laufey is dead, but Loki mentions that he won't be on the throne for long. I'm not sure about the timeline here, but since there are references to Loki's return after falling into the void and to Tony Stark, I suppose the story is set after the Avengers film.

Anyway, despite that, I really, really liked it.
