This was really good. I really enjoyed this. I like your style of writing. I'm sorry I don't know enough 'writing language' to describe what I want to stay. It very poetic, but you can totally feel it and relate. "He has yet to even consider that 'sex' might be done in other places besides bed. To him it is indivisible from his parents bed – marriage and sleep and sex are all bound up in that one solid mattress." Thats like the best line ever I swear. It dealt with sex, but it was still so sweet and innocent feeling. Great job, I loved it a lot :)

Second, I love that you made them childhood friends. That was just awesome. I'm a sucker for childhood friends becoming more in the future.

Third, there's nothing about this story that I didn't like. It starts out innocence. Two kids intimating what one saw on TV and soon they fall into a rhythm, one that brings them comfort and joy. And we watch as they grow up. As they go through that phase of losing their innocence and gaining new perspective.

Most of all, I love how you made Dean. He doesn't accept what he is or how he feels, but you made it realistic. He doesn't see himself as gay because he doesn't feel attracted to other guys. He also was not going to let Cas feel ashamed of himself.

I was at Ralph's when I found this story. Not even kidding. We were in Mammoth on vacation, and my dad, my friend, and I had made a supply run. I was getting serious fanfiction withdrawals, and there was Internet at Ralph's, so I went. I found this little story, and by the time I was done reading it, I was in the bread aisle in tears. It has stuck with me since then, and still makes me glassy eyed each time I read it. It has even worked its way into my top ten SPN fics. Amazing work.
