"But he has to sacrifice this nice moment of awkwardness to make sure Ziva doesn't go running to the classifieds with a red pen and a dozen printed resumes." Perhaps this should have been humorous (after all Ziva running around like a crazy woman with a red pen and papers flying deserves a giggle), but instead it enhanced the seriousness of the situation. When Ziva said she couldn't take anymore, I never really thought of the repercussions of her *following through* with that statement. Good job! |

I'm so partial to stories of the psychological inner workings of these characters, especially related to Tony & Gibbs and this struck just the right balance with Tony. And being a non-Tiva fan, I especially appreciated being able to read it from a bonded, tight, cohesive, been-through-the-fires-together, team friendship perspective. And I do love me some Tony as the capable glue moment! |
