Gale is kind of an ass in this chapter. He torpedoed Katniss' growing romance with Peeta simply because he couldn't have her for himself. What a friend. I wonder why Katniss still wants to be friends with him.

Katniss' reaction to finding out about Madge's disaster date with Peeta was so funny. I actually thought she was going to claw out Madge's eyes. Then when she finds out the circumstances behind the date she is remorseful

OMG, I think you NEED to write more Gadge fics! You do it so damn well!

Really liked this chapter.
I love the hunger games but I think it could be improved by different perspectives, you should throw some more katniss, maybe gale, even the other mellarks into the mix in MFDWKE, it creates such a detailed story and its so interesting to see how different their perspectives are.
Anyway, think youre a fantastic writer - keep up the good work!

Never thought I'd say this but I could read a whole story with your Gale & Madge snarking... They are both chatty so there is more potential there...

Ohh I love this little snippet!
Funnily enough, even though I adore Peeta POV over all else, Katniss's POV in this fic is fascinating, as you just want to know when she started to fall for Peeta.
I like the parts where she stares too long and does play hard to get intentionally.. 'I wasn't pretending,' comes to mind :)
And that final line of, 'Who takes care of Peeta?' Aaah I love it! She cares, she cares! *does boogie* xP

You make them so sweet together. I've always preferred Gadge to Gohanna? (have no idea what their couple name is)
