  Paul chapter 1 . 11/28/2015 Good story, I liked the contrasts between the district funerals. District 1 was especially cruel. Districts 3, 7 and 11 were kind of touching. District 10 was a little creepy. |
| HG fan chapter 1 . 8/22/2015 THIS WAS AMAZING ! Such an interesting take on the funerals! I had never thought about what the districts do with the bodies! Just one tiny thing, in the book the dead tributes are said to be shipped back to the district in wooden boxes. Other than that this story is perfect! |

| stargirl interlude chapter 1 . 6/24/2014 this is one of my favorite fics, ever. you are impossibly talented and have a knack for creating a more detailed world inside a preexisting one. my only nitpick - and it is a tiny one - is that district 10 is assumed to be around the area of texas ; no ocean there. but nothing is set in stone, anyway, so really, it's no big deal. this is so gorgeous, and so chilling - especially the first one. absolutely gorgeous. you are ridiculously talented. |

| Technomad chapter 1 . 3/26/2014 District Eleven's custom puts me in mind of a New Orleans jazz funeral. A bit of cultural continuity there? Bittersweet and beautiful, and showing how different the Districts became in their isolation from each other and the rest of Panem. |
