This story is hilarious,but in the way a really good comedy is. I like the idea of modern Anne in her historic counterpart shoes and I like to wonder how history. Might change in response to what she knows. I hope you update someday ( also, I am still very fond of Nemesis, cross fingers for that too!)

Woohoo, stay strong Anne! Don’t give into the entitled, violent, over-indulged, STD-riddled tyrant king! I’m so sick of reading all the “21st century girl falls into the past and despite knowing exactly what Henry VIII is, still goes through with marrying him” stories. Any girl with even a basic knowledge of him and an OUNCE of self-preservation would be planning ways out of marrying him, not going full steam ahead like some fics do. Besides, aside from all the stress that he put on Anne Boleyn that could have contributed to her two miscarriages, it’s ALSO equally possible (and a 21st century-raised Anne Stafford would know this) that her miscarriages were caused by Henry’s STD’s! We now know that STD’s can cause miscarriage, stillbirth, preterm delivery, and even infertility, and the way Henry VIII whored around, there’s no way he didn’t have any STD’s, which he then would have passed onto both Katherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn. It’s ironic that his own sluttiness probably continrubted to his lack of heirs. But yeah, a 21st century girl would NOT be okay with getting passed a bunch of STD’s, let alone getting her head chopped off when Henry gets tired of her. So yeah, go Anne Stafford! I know she doesn’t want to push another girl forward in case that girl gets executed too, but honestly, that might not be a problem. According to the show, Henry broke away from the Catholic Church to marry Anne because Anne wouldn’t have sex with him until he married her. If she starts ignoring her and he moves onto someone else, that new girl probably won’t say the same thing; she’s probably just sleep with him. So Henry wouldn’t break away from the Church out of “love” for another girl. He’d stay shackled to Catherine until he finds another solution...to be honest, I’m a bit surprised he never poisoned her to get what he wanted.
