Even f written by an inexperienced 12 gear old, you've written better than some 20-40 year olds on this site (trust me; I've written plenty of reviews about horrid writing only to check a profile page and realize its a 30 year old woman , my point is this was a great story and you did a great job with it |

If you want to rewrite it I say do what you want (it's your story) but don't forget that people liked it even with your self-described "cringy" writing. As for the beginning parts of the story, you are a little too hard on yourself. It was totally fine. In fact, you wouldn't have gotten so many comments and favorites if it wasn't.
