When I read it yesterday, I was expecting the black eye to have come from Reid, I thought he had been the one who had sparred with Morgan, he does need to brush up on his hand-to-hand skills. I think Reid's insecurities are in the way of him thinking Morgan would want him. He sees him as a player and probably thinks the bathroom interlude was a one time thing. Plus, if Morgan is teasing him about his "skills" he probably thinks that Morgan thinks he isn't worth the trouble. BUT, I think deep down, he trusts Morgan. Great chapter, glad I am rereading it, not sure if I commented on each chapter from my phone after I started having all sorts of problems typing on my tiny screen. Glad they are proceeding slowly, I think it's best for both of them, even though Morgan knows and he know Reid knows, and Reid thinks Morgan thinks he is just a "one off" as the Brits say.

I think I may have mentioned that I was reading it yesterday on my cell phone and in that case, kept clicking on something that took me off of the comment page I was typing on. First of all, thanks so much for finishing this sweet, poignant story, I can't tell you the number of promising stories that I wanted to read, only to find that they hadn't been updated since 2011 or maybe 2012. I know RL gets in the way, I do understand that, I just don't get why someone would have six or eight or ten stories, all started the same year, and abandoned. I never say anything, to the author, just skip over them but it's frustrating. Someone I think questioned why Reid would remember him, a) as I recall Spencer was wearing a mask, but b) who could miss those hazel eyes, and the unusual shape of Reid's mouth, the upper lip, especially is a sight to behold. I think here, Morgan thinks that Spencer has forgotten him.

Missed that I wrote an incorrect screen name on previous post.I decided to reread this chapter and glad I did. I forgot what Morgan said to woman in bar "I'm in a relationship and yes it's serious" awww. Love that Morgan went out on a limb and committed his heart to Spencer even when he was giving Morgan no real hope. He really is in love with Reid and is willing to wait as long as it takes. No pplayinaround at being a player and hurting Spencer's feelings even when Reid is giving him not much hope I really like your Derek Morgan. Good job. Btw re Reid's mask, my guess is that he remembered his eyes. And the shape of his mouth is unmistakable. Very sexy very kissable and very unforgettable with dimples in the corners of his lips. Yum. Loved it.

I loved this story so much. Sorry there aren't more reviews. Doing this on my phone and keep hitting some key that takes me off the story. This was sweet angsty in some chapters (the first part especially) I have to be honest I didn't think Morgan did a very good job of prepping Reid for his first time. I've read that it's vrry painful the first time (from a columnist who gives sex advise) but glad he did this time. It was a nice ending. Gives "scoop for the imagination" lot of pictures of MGG for me to pull up in my minds eye. Although Morgan seemed to be a bit nervous about his feelings for Reid so glad he didn't put Reid through hell by fighting this attraction it a satisfying ending. I'm glad Reid made Morgan court him and that Morgan cared enough to do so. Bravo

The end was fine. Post coital bliss, not much more than mindless babble from either of them if they came out with anything more eloquent I'd wonder abt the sex. Yes, I myself wondered abt the prep first time. Suprised tears didn't seep out of the corners of his eyes. Nice sweet sexy tender story. Loved the cute sexual innuendo banteing between the two men. I know some author create a somewhat experienced Reid. I'm just not seeing that. Not sure if the canon indicates whether or not he did. My impression from the series is that he has not had much experience. Perhaps kissing. I think when he was in hs, bullying classmates had the presece of mind to realize that he was so much younger, and even in college there would be 4 yrs difference age wise amounting to statutory rape. Was he forced to give BJs, that I'm not clear abt either. Loved the story, the little bit of angst great build up to climax, so to speak.

Well, at least I know I'm not the only one that rewrites chapters over and over again! :D PLEASE TELL ME Spencer heard Derek call him Pretty Boy because I feel like you made it that he never calls him that because that's what he called the masked Reid... right? Or am I just confused?

Wasn't Reid wearing a mask then though? Or did he take it off halfway through and I don't remember? AGH Awesome so far!
