Yes, this is old. And we all know what a partial let down 4x17 has been. But this was GREAT. I actually hope this would have happened instead. In fact, it appears you know how to write Blair a bit better than the actual writers. THIS fic was more authentic to Blair than what actually happened. In fact, if I didn't know better, this probably was the chapter from the infamous 'Inside'. haha. The banter, the attitudes, the dialogue (redundant I know) everything is AWESOME. I had a smile plastered the whole time.

On another matter, I read your profile (your name seemed familiar) and I recognized you as the author of other Dair fics I liked. Even more incredible was the fact that you like HermionexDraco as a pairing. I will probably continue this talk some other time but like Blair once told Serena, I feel like we share a connection that I would like to explore in some of your other fics. If I am right, that would result in enormous amount of entertainment for myself haha. Arigato !

Thanks for writing. I'm still holding out that the season could possibly end with Dair . . . or better yet next season could start with Dair as I think it would be more likely to last that way.

4.17 was ABSOLUTELY a giant letdown of epic proportions. Who cares about Raina and Chuck and Nate, etc, when there's Dair to be had?

I just can't get over how spot-on the voices are in this little gem! I read the story with them in my head the whole time. This was such a nice little story, I loved it! Hopefully the next ep/ rest of the season isn't just a giant let-down!

This was amazing! The characters were written very well, the dialogue was fitting and hilarious. I absolutely love it :)

aww man if this doesn't happen in gossipgirl i think i might cry & call the producers & give them a piece of my mind :( because i love this one shot :) !

Now if the show could turn out like this it would be amazing. I have a horrible feeling that 4x17 could be a huge disappointment. I really hope I'm wrong. I want it to turn out like this story. If it doesn't turn out like that then I want them to at least still be friends. I'll be gutted if they rip them apart.

Anyway this was a really clever idea and you captured their dynamic so well. I loved the fact that they were both clueless about the fact that they were attracted to each other and I think that's pretty true to the show. I genuinely believe that Dan is now pursuing Blair but isn't even aware he's doing it. Fingers crossed for 4x17.
