Second of all, you got the characters' voices down great as far as I can tell. Awesome! I liked this.
One question though: I understood all the Japanese but I'm wondering though, why use so much of it in an English-language story?

This story is awesome. I always feel more respect for the author when they write angst without resorting to romance. I'm not a yaoi fan. I think it's unacceptable when you have such great characters to play off of and you chicken out and make them make out instead. So, Kudos to you. Great job! ) Hn.

They talk a bit more than is usual; kinda plain-spoken, very much just putting things out there. But it's all true. And it doesn't shout. I just love this fic. Like a hot bath, it's really very relaxing.

after writing a few...i'm sorry for not being original, but know this..i like your writing it's style, its propensity to convey thoughts and feelings and your characters just come to life. so if i say nice a hundred times...just know that i like.
