I enjoyed the insight into T'Pol's thoughts as she remembers her time with Trip and her Vulcan/Human hybrid baby. I also particularly liked that she is keeping tabs on Spock and can still hear Trip's voice, and that the memory of him makes her smile.

The thought of T'Pol outliving Trip is a troubling one. I choose to believe they were together until his death and T'Pol is looking back on fond memories, rather than a wistful speculation of what might have been. And Trip's voice in her head makes me hope that she has managed to keep his katra with her in some way. I'm glad that, even now, he can still make her smile and bring some gladness to her life.

I like the implication that T'Pol, and perhaps her descendants if she and Trip were blessed with children, are in the shadows quietly looking out for the Human/Vulcan families of the time.

Very nice! At first I thought the Vulcan-Hybrid would be a child of T'Pol and Trip, but when you mentioned Spock the puzzle came together!
