Wonderful story! Excellent research - love everything about it. How Dean "helped" in Sam's head, and how he came by in RL afterwards. I grinned at Dean swiping the shirt to find out about the bone dust, and killing the skinwalker so Sam is safe. REALLY enjoyed Sam thinking that his hunter life was just interfering with his normal life - because of the dream of Jess burning like his mom. But I have to say my favorite was Azazel talking with Brady. If Sam Winchester's gonna be any use to us, we need to toughen him up, get him back on the road where he belongs, hunting. And the only way that's gonna happen, is to tap into his need for vengeance. He's his father's son.

That was amazing! I loved how you filled in the missing story before Jess is killed. The Healing prayer is beautiful and used in a perfect way to heal Sam. Great idea possessing the skinwalker by a demon.

Awesome fic! I really love how you always seem to come up with new interesting lore and build amazing storylines with it! This time was no different. I loved how Sam saw Dean all along and how big brother was there to protect even when he wasn't really there. I would've liked for him to go see Sam at the end but the open ended suspense was even better! And mostly, I loved how you played everything out so it fit in canon with the beginning of the show. Good job with once again an awesome h/c story just the way I like em :)

I love the way you had hallucination Dean be the one who got Sam through the life threatening ordeal he experienced, and then had the real thing there to make sure it didn't happen again by him taking out the skinwalker. You did an awesome job also of tying the story into canon. Thank you so much for that!

Ooooooh this one is really good. I loved the view into Sam's life at college, including all of the behind the scenes with Azazel and Brady. But the ways in which you brought Dean into this one were perfect. Spot on.

I really liked the line about hallucination Dean saying he was as real as Sam needed him to be.

I really enjoyed this story. It is very well written, as your pieces always are, and I liked how you fit it into the Standford canon while also giving it nice brotherly moments. I also like your take on Sam's relationship with Jess. Since the show did not give us much to go on in that regard, it is pretty open to interpretation, and I think you did a great job with it. All in all, another wonderful story.

Wow, awesome story and love how you gave it a link to the Pilot episode. Figures that something would come after Sam and loved how Dean appeared to him and helped him. Also loved too that Dean actually was there at the end, leaving a skin mag for Sam, there is no way he wouldn't have come to check on his little brother and would know something had happened. Great that from the end of the fic Pastor Jim had been aware of what had gone down too. Perfect Dean dealing with the skinwalker and totally fitted that Azazel was inside his meatsuit and then went to Brady to tell him to deal with Jess to get Sam back into the hunting life and toughened up.

I like how you tied this into how Jess dies, especially using all that lovely info we learn in season 5. The Navajo Healing Prayer is beautiful. Thanks for this fic; I really enjoyed it.

And I must applaud the effort you put into researching details in your story...most authors wouldn't bother and would rather make something up, but it's comforting to know how much time you put into making your stories!
