This is such a good mix of silliness and (light and not overwhelming) angst. I absolutely adored this. I actually smiled reading it - almost squealed at some parts too. I like that Lelouch is kind of a d*ck but gets soft with Suzaku (truly one of the best tropes of all time). And GOD - HIS PINING! I die for pining. I mean, the way you describe Suzaku's smiles... sh*t, I might fall in love with him too!

Also the side characters are nicely fleshed out too. They don't just feel like ornaments (if that makes sense?), they feel like real characters with their own stories that we just simply aren't privy to.

Wish I could properly articulate how lovely this fic is! And I'm a bit forlorn that it hasn't been updated in nearly a decade - but I see that you're still active on ff so HOPEFULLY! you have the inspiration and interest to finish this! I personally don't use ff anymore, but I have bookmarked this fic and will sporadically check to see if you've updated ;)

This is one of the best stories I've read in quite some time. You're incredibly talented. The way you string words together is beautiful. Through it all, you have successfully managed to make me smile and laugh. Most stories can't do that to me. This one here is very special. I'm sad that it ended with chapter four though. I would very much like to see more. Maybe one day you'll return to it. Until then, I'll keep waiting.

It's been a while since I've read any sort of fanfiction, and to start up again with this story has made me question why I even left in the first place. The writing is very clear with such great detail that it has me flailing on my bed with how accurate it is at times. Like wowwie a writer actually put thought into their setting and what type of character they are instead of solely focusing on the plot bunny they found? Incredible.
