Wow family drama. when the turtles use the word freak it feels like a really strong, hurtful word more so than if a human were saying it. Venus is referring to herself as like a freak among freaks. That's pretty intense.
I have to keep reading.

This relationship between Venus and Don feels very real. I have very different relationships with all of my siblings so I can relate to both of them.
Great job. Very emotional.

I often wonder just how turtley the turtles are or if they are more like humans. And cycles is where humans and reptiles would be really different. Very interesting.
