Dunno if I ever reveiwed this one (probably too lazy to log in...) but I have to let you know that this is one of my all time favorites (I ship renru). At least five of those hits are mine b/c I keep going back to it. I think you captured their odd little, needling knife-point relationship perfectly, and to do it with a playful toungue-in-cheek humor is especially difficult and well done on your part. All in all, I love love this one and I was glad you reposted it so I wouldn't have to go back and hunt through the list to favorite it.

When I read that it was Byakuya and Renji, I wasn't expecting to have Renji and Rukia paired up at the end. Still a good story.
