2019 and I’m still coming back to reread this fic! Your wonderful writing, the perfect ratio of dialogue to description, all the fantastically written reactions and the character’s thought processes, and overall just a very fun and enjoyable (and stressful at the end!) plot have kept me thinking about and coming back to the fic for years! This is definitely one of my all-time favourite fics, and honestly I think it set some standards for what I enjoy in fics to this day! I don’t know if you still check FFnet reviews anymore (I don’t myself) but I just wanted to let you know that all these years later, I still love and enjoy this fic so much! (And all those Sam/Gabe moments /still/ get me, gosh darn!)

Are you creating an OOC Cas with the addiction issue? Because I don't recall Cas having an issue with Pills in the show. And the burger thing was because of Famine & Jimmy's love of red meat. And I only recall him getting drunk once in 5x17 when he drank the liquor store. /

I'm a bit in the grey about Cas & Gabe's need for hand to hand combat tutorials. They were angels of the lord, they KNOW how to go into battle. Even without their grace, they would have to know how to fight. So I'm not sure they would need to learn that, even if they were turned human. They would still know how to do the hand to hand fighting, they would just start feeling muscle soreness and pain. /

And it's ALL Sam's fault. If he hadn't been a controlling, overprotective asshole, then Gabe would have continued to win money w/out any incident. Sam is being a jerk.
