Nice story and very insightful when it comes to the thoughts and feelings Neal had when he was first thrown in prison. Nice description of their relation.

Your story answers perfectly to many questions. Not only about Neal being supposed to have served his time in SumerMax, which is impossible, but also about the reasons why Neal seems so fond of Peter from the beginning, sending him cards while being in prison, etc… The escape also makes much more sense. You completely nailed both the characters, Neal's hesitancy in talking about prison and way of asking about the smallest of details, Peter's pauses while talking about how he felt, even the warning he gave towards the end, all of it was so realistic that I could picture this conversation taking place as I read it. :)

Well, this is what I've said all along. Neal was nonviolent and super max is for violent criminals. The idea behind the old super max prison turned into a safe house for certain prisoners sounds like a good idea. I really enjoy stories about Neal's time before Peter, even if it's concerning prison. Very enjoyable.

This was awesome! Funny, sweet amd realistic. You're totally right about the SuperMax thing, I always thought, if it was that simple for him to get out of the SuperMax, what kind of security do they have for minimum?
