Wow. This was beautiful. Magnificent. I have been waiting and waiting for a post-rescue fic like this. Everyone seems to think elliot was so awful to her in that episode but he was just trying to protect her from getting to attached because he forsaw this ending badly. I love that you pinpointed that! He backed her up with Cragen and when Vivian was trying to cut a deal, when the ADA was questioning her motives. I thought it was an incredible episode and that this story is amazing. I am adding it to my favorites! Thanks for sharing this.
