Kudos! It would be interesting to see this idea turned into a novel-length fic. Either the first Yeerk (can't remember the name because it's been well over a decade) or Iniss starts a clandestine relationship with Jake who allows it thinking it might help Tom break free.

It does make sense that Tom could turn gay (something that normally isn't possible because being gay isn't a choice anymore than being straight is) while infested, because there is actually scientific evidence showing that homosexuality is genetic in males (female sexuality is more fluid, that's why more females identify as bi, poly, or pan), and with Iniss in his brain, his DNA could be altered. But what about Jake? And how is Cassie going to fit into this?

Wow, I reall loved this! It's hard to explain why but oh man! I was not expecting that ending. It seemed as if Tom would just go back to normal but jeez, he was still so very fcked up. Haha, I loved, every word of it! The ending was a tad bit awakard, but that's okay. I jut wanted to say thanks for writing this, it's beautifully written!

Very Real, yet it related to the characters in a way that I could imagine the author writing. I really enjoyed this story(from a fellow authors POV) and will be checking out your other stories soon. Ten out of ten stars. :)

... Oh my god. This was painful to read in every way. This has to be one of the darkest 'what if'-stories I've read about Animorphs.. It's rather well-written, yet so painful.
