This was amazing. I'm don't think I believe that the Dai Li's brainwashing could have created all of that, because it's intense and rather lengthy, but if I ignore that, then it's brilliant. Young Zuko was perfect, character-wise. Just the right amount of arrogance and vulnerability. And the way you had them grow together... I dunno. It was all just really, really good.

this is great too, we get the behind-the-scenes look at how they remember each other. (including a massively creepy and evil ozai). would be cool if there was a continuation though...just saying is all...*whistles innocently*

I love it! It's more original and fresher than the traditional "Katara is captured and becomes Zuko's slave" fanfic. You really can turn an overused plot into an amazing fanfic!

I really like this particular Zutara story simply because it's so believable. Personally I like Kataang stories a bit more just because from the events of the canon Zutara just doesn't seem believable. It definitely works though in this instance. Good writing :]
