You are KILLING ME! This is too beautiful. . . too beautiful for words. I love this. I assume that Goku is planning to die too in this grand battle to the death; he says that he doesn't want to die old, that while he is happy living now, he just doesn't want to die old. Then, as Vegeta and Goku stand together overlooking their last battlefield, Goku says that neither of them have anything to hang around for, and they don't have to worry about anyone else dying. I know that Goku is planning to die with Vegeta. I can't see one going on without the other, it would be too sad and too empty. I felt more sad for Goku than Vegeta considering him remaining on Earth without Vegeta. You know, I thought you had me with "Dispassionato", but no, this is it, "Dusk" is it. I mean, I LOVED your other story, but "Dusk" had me thinking and imagining and tearing up; what exists between these two, their connection, the trust, the truth, the raw love, words can't express. The love between two true friends who are closer than brothers, beautiful.

I've been waiting for a story like this since my friend told about the DBO storyline! And you didn't disappoint You have such a way with the characters, and I absolutely love the way you write Goku...maybe it's just that he's such a hard character for me to get XD

But, I really love this, and can totally picture them doing exactly that.
