Really well-written drabble! Great descriptions and characterization.

That's a challengeing prompt, considering these two and excluding sex. Glad you did, though! The writing was so clean, factual, dryly humorous, and surprisingly realistic-for these two, at least. I especially liked how they progressed as friends, debating the validity of a hypothesis.

Oh, but wouldn't they make a lovely pair! Not that I don't love me some John... but the potential for those two big brains together?Squeeeee!
