This is relly good I hope you can write more of this because I thnk thi is really good.

I don't think it can be cliche because nobody's done this before. Also I don't think it's OOC. So don't worry about it muffin.

Oh and it does make sense for Neil to be gone a whole year since it's their last year anyways. Which sucks extra because then they have to go to college or whatever after.

I really enjoyed this and it was a great thing to wake up to this morning. The only little tiny...less complaint more question is that you didn't make it clear if they were already in a relationship of sorts or if that was the first time they had kissed.
