You FUCKER, you made me cry!

Oh god, it's been a really long time since I've cried so hard at a fic. I just read the Other for the first time, and as much as I wanted a magical everything-is-fixed-forever happy ending for these two...this was so heartbreakingly realistic. The style fits perfectly with the series, too. I don't know yet if they (or, well, Mertil...) appear later in the series, but until they do, this just reads like exactly how it would go in canon for them. I spent literally half of this sobbing, and then burst into fresh tears all over again at the end.

Wow. Never has an Animorphs fanfic made me cry so much. So sweet and tender.

This was beautiful. I liked your portrayal of Cassie, but it was great overall.
