Whoa. It's April 5 today!
Okay, so anyway: I only started watching Kurojitsushi yesterday and am on season two, but this fanfic really stands out to me already. You've captured the personalities of the characters immaculately, and all of the scenery is just right, not overdone or just barely touched upon. All in all, despite being a newcomer to this fandom, I have to admit that this is one of the best stories I've seen amongst the rabble, other fandoms included.

It's been quite a while since you've updated this, but I hope that you continue it eventually because I found this quite interesting and very good to read. I really wanna know what happens! You're a great writer and I hope that you will pick this back up one day. Come back to us, deary!

I was quite eager when I started to read your story, the idea appealed to me greatly. When I read the author's note to this second chapter I was even more excited to see what would happen. I am a great lover of literature and the English language, as well as literature from other countries. While it's not too hard to find works that are entertaining, finding works that I believe are truly well-written by true artist are harder to come by. I find there is a great difference between good story-tellers and good-writters, one not always being dependent on the other. So I a looking forwards to more from this story, and will patiently wait for more updates.
I usually do not review individual chapters, preferring to wait until I've completed the full work, however, I found myself oddly wanting to give my support, letting you know how much I have enjoyed just these two short chapters, and perhaps give you a bit of assurances that, I for one anyway, am happy to wait for more chapters if they are as well written as these last two. I especially liked how you added in such well-thought out bits that fit so well with the original story and characters. The two civilian letters and Ceil's responses, such typical 'Ceil', as well as the fact that Ceil doesn't appreciate art, I felt that suited him. The way you used true crime stories from the time-period, like the original author, I found these things to be enormously pleasing. It actually reminded me somewhat of a book I read, it was about a poisoning of a Dr., in the late 1890s, called 'Death On The Priory'. Perhaps you heard of it, its been a few years since I read it, I may have the info a bit off. However, something about your work jerked it to the fron of my brain, and I thought it would be interesting to see what you would do with that story if you combined it with Kuro. and Ceil Phantomhive and his dark, demon butler. It would definalty be worth reading I think.
Anyway, I am going to finish the chapters you have uploaded, I may or may not feel the need to review again, I probably won't if I feel it would just be repeated praise. We shall see!

thanks for the story! and for that lady whose name escapes me. that was interesting... maybe it will be mentioned in the manga? xD i can't wait to see if this was like an assasination plot by the snake guy whose name also escapes me but i know who he is xD can't wait til next update! :D
