Beautiful...Possibly the most emotionally beautiful piece of Psychfic I've ever read. Incredible writing.

Awesome story. I half expected it to come full circle - he'd leave, find himself again and come back and open the detective agency (probably without 'psychic' added to it though. hehe. But I'm kind of glad that it didn't. It was a different take that had me tearing up in places and smiling in others.

I would've loved for Shawn to have called O'Hara 'Jules,' just once, to show us all that he's finally changing. But I thought you brought it out nicely in a strong way anyway. (just in a subtler way).

Aw, I really enjoyed this. Excellent take on what could have been. I think you hit the nail on the head exactly for what it would have taken for Shawn to have become a cop - and what would have resulted if he had.

This was a really good story, right from the heartbreaking way you wrote about Shawn's father's death to the end, when he was talking about letting go. I hope more people come along to read this because you really have an excellent writing ability!

Anyways, I really liked this fic. I don't think there's another like it, and it's ... the kind of angst that I like? Reading about character deaths is always a bit of a mrgh spot for me, but I liked the way you let Spencer handle it (or rather, not handle it).
