This is so lovely! I adore Annabeth-Rachel friendship, and this is one of the best.

I really like Annabeth/Rachel friendship :) it didn't start off right, but became something amazing. The beginning part with the clerk was pretty funny :D

This story cemented my belief that you are an awesome storyteller. Way to go!

When I read this, I thought about the fact that Percy stole a police car...so Annabeth could find out about that ? But I guess you won't do a second chapter...:(

Anyway, I like Annabeth-Rachel-storys too ;)

While the whole piece was rather wonderful, i couldn't help but giggle a little at the alaska comment.

Hi! I loved your story! I always loved Annabeth's and Rachel's relanship (even when they didn't get along-it was obvious that Percy was really the only thing keeping them from getting along really well) and this illustrated it amazingly!

Also, now I've read SON, this line makes me laugh:

"So what, Rachel? By the time we get to California, he'll probably be in Oregon or Nevada or – or Alaska!"

Hee, she's sort of right...Alaska...

3 I love the friendship you've portrayed between Annabeth and Rachel. So many peopel just ahte Rachel it's annoying. But it's quite refreshing to see her be there for Annabeth. I want more of Annabeth's story! she's just so intriguing. Thanks for writing this, you filled her out well xD

I liked it, but I think a lot if people are showing annabeth way too weak. I understand why she would break down (and heck if I were her I'd go crazy) but Rick Riordan writes her as trying to stay stronger

I love the perspective and insight on Rachel and Annabeth's friendship. Really heart-warming and why can't Percy come back? /dies. I hope Percy will be in the second book. if not i don't know what i will do.

I love it. This story's just as brilliant as the story that I admittedly just finished reading by you (Death's Dare- fantastic, by the way) and I can tell you're going to be a bright and wonderful author one day. I can't wait to hear more from you, and very soon.
