Ah, sorry, I don't have an account... I'm more of a roaming reader, but I think this story is a lot of fun to read! *laughing* The way you have it set up, it seems a lot more IC for Battousai to get all kinds of worked up around being first. Obsessive possession or some such thing, considering how enamored he is with her and how "F-ALL RULES!" he got about the whole ethical conflict. You've set him up to be a lot more instincts/desires stripped bare (like "I see, I want, I take, I keep")

Plus! It's been two months, yes? I think that was the time skip duration... Seeing as how so far there's only been make-out sessions, Battousai has to be chomping at the bit. So there's always the chance that Kenshin is all hot and heavy into it, but starts to pull back and end like usual. Maybe there's a trigger of some sort... hearing someone trying to set Kaoru up on a date or something, IDK. But that would aggravate the daylights out of them both. Kenshin definitely seems to shy away from his own intensity, so having an explosive reaction and going further than originally intended or out of the blue wouldn't be out of line. And if he got that worked up and tried to "get himself under control" despite carnal desires, I doubt it would work out so well for him.

LOL! The tl;dr answer is that either could work depending on how you decide to write the luvluv build-up and follow through! (But I think characterization leans more in Battousai's favor for calling dibs on that end of the relationship.)

This fic is great - and so o o different! Kenshin and Battosai are believable, even in their present predicament. You've had more than 10 reviews now, so please don't leave your faithful readers hanging much longer. Thanks!
P.S. I had a distant relative with multiple personalities. His story was very sad. More research needs to be done on treating people with this devastating condition.
