I've been reading a lot of very SAD Janto lately. It makes life depressing. Sometimes we need a happy ending. Ianto doesn't have forever, but they can make 50 years count.

Oh my God in Heaven! This is beautiful! I was so sure it was going to be a trick, when the Doctor dropped Jack off at the beach, and then I was so sure that Ianto would be a hologram or a robot or something. But for the Doctor to give Ianto back to Jack like this? This is brilliant. It more than makes up for his acting like Jack's pimp and serving Alonso up to him. That was as distasteful as a mouthful of shite (not that I've ever tasted it, but I can't imagine anything worse). Thank you for writing this - it's just wonderful, thank you so much!

Very beautiful, not at all the usual cliche 'fix-it' pieces; worded perfectly and a joy to read.

I liked that Jack wasn't too woe-is-me, woe-is-me. He tried his best to keep up the flirting and the suave Harkness charm, and the balance was just about right.

And I do feel sorry for the Doctor, he really does need to be ginger at some point!

All in all, an incredibly enjoyable oneshot to read.

Oh that was the happy ending I wish we got. The Doctor finding away to give Ianto back to Jack without changing time was brilliant, why didn't the writers think of the Doctor using the nanogenes to save Ianto is something I will never understand.

Mate, I cant begin to describe how much fun I had reading this. The closer we get to next year and the new Torchwood ... the more I am mourning the losses we've had as I'm sure all true fans are.

This, though, made me smile! It was just fantastic. I like how your portrayed the Doctor! He was very him. I laughed at his complaining about not being Ginger LOL

Thank you for bringing Jack and Ianto back together. I LOVED this!
