And HOW WOULD SHE KNOW that the child would be happier in the Underground? Frankly Jareth despite your slant could not know that in the end the child would not end up better off above.

So this idea that Sarah is in the wrong is HORSECRAP

I'm enjoying this so far. I'm not American though so I have no idea about the terms you used to describe the different years of college/university.

However I've enjoyed the build up to meeting jareth again :)

The beginning is heartbreaking in how deeply her father and stepmother devalue her art and don't understand the tremendous emotional cost of it. I ask my brother for stories and did imaginative games. I could completely relate to Toby and how much stories connected them.

This was posted oh-so-long ago, and I doubt many people are still here to read the reviews on their works (I myself am just returning to the world of fanfic after being gone for several years). It's not stopping me from leaving words, even if it's just me who'll know they're here. This is the first fanfic that has ever made me cry because it ended. Oh, plenty have made me cry throughout-and believe me, yours did THAT as well-but none ever because they were over. I always simply go to the next fic. I came here from PaisleyRose (I'm new to the Labyrinth although it's something I should have seen as a child) and this was on her list of either favorite stories or authors or both...whichever it is. I'd thank her if I could. Now I'm off to bury myself in the rest of your writings. This was a marvelous piece of work. It's almost a shame that it's just a fic, and not a book from you. That is not something I say often here. Thank you for sharing with us.
