Reviews for Panem
Jeptwin chapter 22 . 3/18
I believe this much more than I believe that all careers come off totally unscarred
Jeptwin chapter 6 . 3/18
I must admit, I was curious myself as to what lies underneath that particular mask
Paul chapter 18 . 11/10/2016
Interesting, relatable description of flavius. Chilling line about how he didn't feel human while he was locked up.
Paul chapter 36 . 11/10/2016
The weasel baiting was darkly funny. Well written deaths for Portia and the prep team, especially Rufus, whatever the reasoning behind his last words may have been.
Zeviz chapter 22 . 4/15/2014
I just finished re-reading Logically Speaking (the long story based on this one), so leaving a review here to say that it's still one of my favorite stories.
DeletedAccount3498 chapter 44 . 4/29/2013
Wow, I love this. And the mish mash of Wiress thoughts about the arena, merged with the description of the market. It just seems so real and vivid!
DeletedAccount3498 chapter 43 . 4/29/2013
Wow, I really like this, and for some reason. I found myself relating to Venia, yeah I like drawing and styling too. (I once drew outfits and coloured them in), and I'm a huge lover of hair. I like to restyle and decorate my hair and my friend's hair, kind of like what Venia does except to a lesser degree.

I like the view in which you portrayed her, sort of eccentric and intelligent and focused on the things that matter to her! Excellent characterization, and only in a few short words.

Also, it was the starting paragraph to this story that drew me in, absolutely spellbound!
DeletedAccount3498 chapter 42 . 4/29/2013
This is another breathtakingly powerful piece. I love the format of this story, the sacrifices they made. It just shows how destructive the capitol is, and how hard the rebellion was.
DeletedAccount3498 chapter 41 . 4/29/2013
Wow, I love how you built up all of Thresh's feelings and thoughts about the knife and what it resembles, so when you belt out the last line in the text, the meaning is clear and leaves an afterthought in the reader's mind, I can so imagine what's going to happen next, and the fury and rage Thresh must've felt and I don't blame him.
DeletedAccount3498 chapter 40 . 4/29/2013
Ah, it's so sad and tangible...
DeletedAccount3498 chapter 39 . 4/29/2013
OMG! This is just so heartbreaking!

I really like this, and the mood you managed to capture in this short script of writing. I saw your author's note, and I'm guessing whoever POV's this is in, is a self-insert of yourself? If it is then you did a good job of pulling it off, you made it seem perfectly realistic (as realistic as it's possible to get when writing a Hunger Games fanfiction), and I love the accent of the person. It creates a rough grubby feel to her personality, and sort of defines the hardship she's experienced in her life already.
DeletedAccount3498 chapter 38 . 4/29/2013
Oh gosh. I LOVE this!

The highly philosophical view?
The repetitiveness of this narrative which just emphasizes the relationship between them?
The manner you wrote this so the average reader (who doesn't know much about philiosophy, like me) can still understand it?
The sayings?

Those are just some of the good aspects of this one shot, and it seems like Prim never really had a purpose of her existence other then to motivate Katniss to achieve some great odds. Heck, even her death had a purpose - to motivate Katniss. It's sad that Prim's thought of this way, and the line. "And the unhappiness of a few is worth it for the happiness of many. The many did not know Prim and could not be affected by her death."

Hmm, I wonder how many people exactly knew Katniss had a sister...
DeletedAccount3498 chapter 37 . 4/29/2013
Wow, I like this! And snow's scheming!
DeletedAccount3498 chapter 36 . 4/29/2013
I really like this!

And the theme of weasels and courage in this!

You know, this is one of these fics that are so good that I don't know what to say!
DeletedAccount3498 chapter 35 . 4/28/2013
Hahhaah!

Pricelessly funny!
