My god, that single line undid me. It's so perfect. I just. Gah. Honestly, I never thought of Saix/Axel at all before BBS. Of course Squeenix would make their Somebodies best friends! Rip our hearts out, why don't you, heh.

Your progression through their lives is amazing. I loved how, at the end, they kept getting shorter, and sadder. Exactly how I think Isa would react.

It doesn't help that I just watched the Lea/Isa cutscene not three hours ago.

Ugh, I'm sort of scared to finish the game, now. Great read. Loved it to bits.

See, before BbS, I would never even have considered anything like Axel and Saix... But... Oh, that scene was good, wasn't it?

This was so poignant and sweet. Personal cannon much now? Yes, yes it is.

I love it! The moment I watched that scene in BBS I started wondering "what happened to make Axel and Saix not get along in the future". This is a wonderful idea of how it happened. Instant favorite!

Oh! This is so sad! But so wonderful at the same time! I end up feeling really bad for Isa/Saïx, he ends up abandoned by his best friend. Maybe this is why I like him so much, Axel's betrayal seems not to affect him, but it just kills him inside. Keep writing!

Ahh, I'm glad I stumbled across this. There aren't enough Lea/Isa fics around, let alone good quality ones. I love the innocence in this, all the various scenarios between the two as they grow up. I have to say that the first paragraph (and consequently, the summary for this that got me interested) is my favourite. It's so child like and sweet to bond from an accident and make friends so quick.

To be honest, I did think the italic section at the end of this was rather tacked on and a little needless. I think it would have ended with more of a bang with the nonexistent heart line.

Altogether, though, I really enjoyed this. The style is consistent and you maintain the bittersweet theme that is Isa and Lea's friendship.

T.T u should really put romance in the genres so people like me who hate yaoi dont click on it...however im sure any yaoi fans out there will love this -.-
