Hades Lord of the Dead chapter 1 . 5/26/2011
Wow this rocks. One of my friends recently resparked my interest in PotC, which led to me sparking hers in . B-D

I love it. So simple yet so much is explained. AWESOME!
Pirate-on-Fleet-Street chapter 3 . 12/30/2010
"The pirate's earned a strange reward;

His prize, a hangman' s noose."

This is like the line in the first chapter. It shows that Jack ended up exactly where he first began this story. In trouble.

I really like the way you set this whole thing up.

Pirate-on-Fleet-Street chapter 2 . 12/30/2010
"Marooned upon

A desert isle,

With lots and lots

Of rum."

I particularly like this part of chapter, about the two being marooned.

"And sail away, quite unconcerned

At whom they are forsaking."

That last line just sort rings with you :)

I've never read anything quite like this, in verses and perfect poetry. Something like this could easily make the film sound too summarized but somehow you've said so much in so little and it's very much complete, what I've read so far.

To say the least, I'm very impressed :)

The Wolf's Shadow chapter 3 . 10/22/2010
So I completely missed this! I can't believe myself sometimes...

Great chapter as always. :) I like the last verse's sneak-peek type feeling, if that makes sense...
Elerrina Star chapter 3 . 9/27/2010
*grins like a crazy person* I love this sooo much! It's PotC fanfiction at it's best, seriously. ;)
Traumer483 chapter 3 . 9/22/2010
Those were great! You're pretty talented! I enjoyed them!
Nytd chapter 3 . 9/22/2010
It's all here -Barbossa threatening Liz, Jack and Will working together to defeat him at the last moment, and Norrington's stiff upper lip as he gives up both girl and pirate.

'The pirate's earned a strange reward;

His prize, a hangman' s noose.

He knows he really should regret

That rescue from the ocean.'

Still loving Jack's second thoughts about rescuing Liz. :)

Great that you have the double ending -it was a perfect place to leave off with the final scene with Jack the monkey!

Nice work, mate! :)
Lemon Zinger chapter 3 . 9/22/2010
Oooh! I like very much! Very nice ending! That shoulda been in the movie!

Nytd chapter 2 . 9/16/2010
Again as with Moor Verse, so much of the story is skillfully conveyed in a short space!

'She's found the perfect fuel

For an impressive conflagration.

The beacon's seen for miles around,

The pirate's not convinced

That burning all the alcohol

Improves his situation.'

This verse makes me smile every time I read it. It really is quite funny.

Looking forward to the next part! :)
The Wolf's Shadow chapter 2 . 9/16/2010
One more chapter to go! Great job. :)
Lemon Zinger chapter 2 . 9/16/2010
Wonderful as always.

Oh, and the advertisement at the top of this is for Pirates halloween costumes complete with Jack and Davy Jones.

sagredo chapter 1 . 9/14/2010
Ooh, the meter in this is really cool - I like how each stanza (am I using the right terms?) begins with shorter lines, and then progresses to longer ones which rhyme almost in limerick style, with the first and last sentence ending in similar sounding words. I've never seen poetry structured like that but it is very original and interesting, and works well for this, actually. I like your take on the characters here, too - the picture of Jack sitting in his cell lamenting giving into an altruistic instinct he seems to possess in spite of himself is intriguing. more to come?
Elerrina Star chapter 1 . 9/11/2010
When I saw the alert for this I nearly flipped out! I *love* PotC and I *love* your stuff, so this is like super exciting. 8D

As always this is just perfect - especially love the parts about Jack Sparrow - er, sorry, *Captain* Jack Sparrow. Hehe! Looking forward to the rest!
