I really loved this. It’s rare to find a long fic that’s not romance focused but this one isn’t and I love it. Not anything against romance but sometimes you want something different you know? Anyway I really liked this. It’s funny how you “knew” Holly J would get sick before it happened on the show. I love all the appearances from former characters, and yes Paige is dating Alex! *fangirl squeals* I know this was published awhile ago but I reall hope you’ll update in the future :)

I am glad that you've decided to continue this fic and like the other chapters it is well-written and realistic. I liked the connection that you used with Clare and Darcy and how you used Paige to blackmail Heather into getting tested for being Holly J's bone marrow match because I think it would've been unrealistic for Heather to have a change of heart without being forced to. I also think that despite being rich that Fiona doesn't know how to cope and hide her sadness around Holly J but what Fiona didn't seem to realize that she's already helping by being there for Holly J even though it's very clear that Fiona wants to do more to help Holly J and now she has gotten that chance and she took a big chance and made a big difference. I loved the old "Degrassi" cast but, I felt that the writers and the powers that be did a better job with letting Holly J go to Yale because I felt that Paige and her group had apirations for a future outside of "Degrassi" but that they generally didn't get to see their dreams realized. I was always disappointed with the direction that the writers and the powers that took with Paige because I think that on the show that she essentially stayed behind due to her love life and then a few episodes later Alex left for good and is never mentioned again. I liked Fiona and Adam together and have always felt that Fiona and Imogen's relationship is all about Fiona and we've never really seen much of Imogen without Fiona and or Eli being involved. I think that while Declan hides it well that the idea of losing his wife would break Declan's heart and it was good to see Fiona say that out loud. I like this storyline in this fic more than on the show because on the show it felt a bit rushed and to me there was so much that could've been done to connect Holly J's illness with the entire cast like you've done here. I think that Ellie is Paige's love interest. I am glad to read a fic where the writer has watched the old "Degrassi" episodes and doesn't think that the show starts and ends with Clare and Eli and because you've watched the older episodes it gave you a chance to write some good cameos. I think that the writers and the powers that be loved the originals to the point where it was hard for them to let them leave and so I was always glad that Holly J's dream of going to Yale came true and that she got to leave realistically and without being on the show for too long. I hope that you will continue this fic soon and thank you as always for sharing this fic with us.
