Loved this. The dialog flowed great and sounded true to the characters involved. Marcus was his typical stubborn yet charming self. Especially thought you captured Londo & Garibaldi, which I think they might be most difficult. Well done.
SG1SamFan chapter 1 . 11/7/2010
This is a somewhat interesting concept, but there are several problems. One, it took far longer than 10,000 years for humanity to evolve into energy forms. According to Season Four's "The Deconstruction of Falling Stars," pure-energy humans in encounter suits moved to "New Earth" one million years after the events of the rest of the series (sorry if you haven't seen it).

There are many typos and odd word choices sprinkled around. You really need a beta reader to pick them all out, as it would take me quite awhile.

There's also just too much dialogue for the pacing, IMO. I'm sure you've heard "show, don't tell." It would be hard to show, but perhaps some flashbacks from Sheridan's POV as he goes to wake Marcus / Marcus' soul would fix that.

"No one even remembers our names any more." Not true. In "The Deconstruction of Falling Stars," there's a ceremony in their honor happening on New Earth.

This his *such* potential, but again, Beta Readers are free, and this story would greatly benefit from a knowledgeable one. :-)

I am . . . slightly at a loss for words . . . thank you for this story and kudos to you for weaving this delicate web! I like how you let the reader decide which choice Marcus will make and thus let the reader think about his own circles in which (s)he threads. _

This is a beautifully, well crafted story. It's extremely creative and quite philosophical in nature. I added you to my favorite author's list and look forward to reading other B5 stories by you.
