Really good...writing, mood, characterization. Just a few things...grammer points. "he was sat in a chair...". Should be seated or better yet, sitting. A few more examples of this.
Also, Donovan would probably not be on duty at 7am in a Sunday morning.

OMG! I LOVED this first chapter so much I had to review right away!

I love this! I am kind of fixated on the backstory between these two at the moment - it was alluded to in the show, and references that aren't elaborated on like that are absolutely MADDENING to me! Anyway I've been eating up as many Lestrade and Sherlock fics as I can find, and this was one of the best so far. Characterizations were spot-on, and I like how you were able to show a more human side to the Holmes brothers without making them overly-sentimental or otherwise OOC. So... yeah, that's about it! I know this is a very late review but I wanted to post something anyway just to let you know your story is still being read and enjoyed :)

You definately deserve reviews for this. One of the best I have ever seen, and that is saying a lot considering how much I've read. It is so rare to find one with everyone in character and this was definately one of those few. I loved every second and I hope you had fun writing it :)
