You don't often see quality writing like this in fanfiction. Every aspiring writer should read your work. In the first three paragraphs, you've coven me a clear and vivid picture of your character Albert- not just his appearance, but how he thinks, how he reacts...excellent work! The perfect example of my old writing instructor's mantra "don't just tell - SHOW". I really enjoyed this fresh perspective of Sirius' escape from the Aurors' point of view. Very intriguing.

BTW - this is off the point, but by the end of the chapter, I had this irresistible image of Albert in my head...it's Tommy Lee Jones from The Fugitive...only in Auror's robes. Offbeat I suppose, but I can see it! (Snicker)

Very nice! I really like this story! Waiting anxiously for the next chapter.

It's still too few chapters to really know for sure if this is as amazing as I think it is or not, but I wanted to say that I enjoyed reading this... even as I wanted to gut everyone but Harry and Sirius. That includes Albus Dumbledore and Remus Lupin, by the way. It's always pissed me off that Lupin didn't at the very least visit Sirius to get his side and that Dumbledore didn't see to it that he got a trial. An innocent man suffered for twelve years in that hell hole and, well, it seriously irks me. I want them to grovel and work to getting Sirius to trust them again, whenever they find out. Which, hopefully they will. Oh, and I'm just telling you this because I've always liked the thought of Harry on Sirius's side; Will Sirius and Harry meet before the end of school year and will Harry tell Ron and Hermione? I know they are best friends but that doesn't mean he has to tell them everything. I'm sorry for being pushy. Here's to hoping you'll write another chapter soon!
