i really liked this, and i liked the ending. I think you could have done more description in the beginning and more of her thoughts during and after the child getting shot, rather than just the straightforward girl dying, going back to the station, debriefing. I would have liked to see more of Andy's thoughts, but other than that it was great!

Nice story. One piece of advice though, you sholld avoid referring to it as a television show within the fanfic, like you did here:

'"But you're also one of the training officers!" He could not deny knowing where she lived. After the episode with the "bullet evidence", he had taken her home on a regular basis.'

Remember that this is their real life, to us they are just characters in a tv show, but in order to keep the fanfic at least somewhat realistic, you should really avoid that.

That being said, i really enjoyed it, keep up the good work!
