eelojnil chapter 9 . 3/30/2018 Oh my gosh...the feels. My eyes are self-cleaning. Did someone cut an onion? |
Gingerwhiskeyice chapter 1 . 6/30/2017 I have signed up to ff just to leave you a comment. This cut me so deeply it's overwhelming me. This story is just so real, so raw and passionate in a warped way. I can see it really playing out like this. Maybe it's because I've been through, done some this in my life, that I really feel this... maybe it's because I secretly adore celine and happy endings. Either way it was perfect. Thank you! |
assiralcclaire chapter 1 . 11/2/2013 Would be nicer if the chapters were in chronological order |
Guest chapter 9 . 7/28/2013 What the fuck what that?! ANDREA IS SUCH A FREAKING PANSY. |
Tamy79 chapter 9 . 3/24/2013 Oh my God. This was brillant. |
Guest chapter 8 . 3/22/2013 This is a truly wonderful story which deserves FAR more reviews than it has been given! Thank you for weaving such a wonderful tale. |
astavares chapter 9 . 9/4/2012 I'm crying like a baby here, beautiful story |
blaqrose chapter 6 . 4/20/2011 this .. thing they have going on is... wow. |
blaqrose chapter 5 . 4/20/2011 angst at its best... wow. i love your story |
CruellaMiranda chapter 9 . 8/9/2010 I've been delinquent in commenting on this, the conclusion. :( Great closing to this story. It took the truce (as I see it) b/w them in the driveway at the house in France for Andrea to find the ability to stand firm in a requirement for an armistice - and the result (albeit 3 years later) appears to have been well worth the wait. Admittedly, I was a little fuzzy on when the transition from what Andrea was thinking to what Miranda is thinking in the epilogue. As a simpleton, I need flashing neon lights sometimes...especially as my little grey cells are being toasted to a crisp at present. But, that is neither here nor there...The wordless scene from the moments they lay eyes upon one another at the wedding up to their starting to dance - perfection. So vivid. Thank you for this wonderful story. |
anonymouth chapter 9 . 8/9/2010 This is the 2nd time I have read this story, and I stilllove it. Every chapter just reveals new layers and intricaties; it still leaves me sad, but with a faint glimmer of hope...you write excellently, and I'm glad that it doesn't all of a sudden turn too sappy at the end. This is exactly how I think Miranda could be in her personal life. Brill; Respect! Xx |
CruellaMiranda chapter 8 . 8/5/2010 Interesting concept - a connection through an appreciation of color (and the ability to see into other people, beyond the usual presentation, that is, of other people). Hmmm. Well, I suppose it makes really good sense-the initial spark between them being something that cannot be easily explained to the outside world. (Major, major understatement.) |
CruellaMiranda chapter 7 . 8/5/2010 I am thinking there is a pivotal scene (for Miranda) somewhere between this moment and the one in 2008 (chapter 6, the one in which Pierre proposes). Because in this glimpse, I see how Andy first starts on her slippery slope of wanting Miranda, but willing to accept all the related rigamarole required of both of them in such a relationship. At this moment, though, it appears that Miranda is still treating her as those before her - predicting Andrea's every turn, etc...but at some point, I would think around the 2008 scene that causes Miranda to want to hold on to Andrea even as she encourages her to marry Pierre, etc, etc. Like I should be ungrateful for what you have given/shown herein. Humble apologies. |
CruellaMiranda chapter 6 . 8/4/2010 And so we see that Andy has let down her mother as well. I suppose that makes sense-like a pebble hitting the water, the rippling effect of disappointment starts with herself, her mother, Pierre, the twins (in a fashion), and only near the end/begining do her actions, her choices extend their damaging waves to Miranda. All starting with a small stone - a desire to appease others, maintain calm. Ha! in so doing, she causes currents/tidal waves in so many lives. The road to he'll is paved with good intentions. ( Although, I suppose the Miranda/Andrea truce, collapsed on muddy earth as the rain from the resulting storm soaks them, isn't exactly Hell.) |
CruellaMiranda chapter 5 . 8/3/2010 Ah. Miranda is an evil woman. And Andrea proves how deeply cruel she can be - to Miranda, to Pierre (and his mother) and most of all, to herself. Such character insigts so deliciously revealed. Brava. |
