As much as I hated the Alice/Steven story line in the show, this is one of the few fics I don't mind it being brought up. (Let's face it, they were only created for dramatic effect, not for actual story reasons.)

(I will say there's one fic where Jack apparently has been having children all over the place and is really cavalier about it, even though that's so out of character it's crazy and the author acts like it's just a natural part of him cos he enjoys sex. They also just made Jack and Ianto give their child up so the whole fic was... Jack talking non stop about his other kids with various lovers, Ianto barely being part of the story and when he is in it being condescended to, and then... them giving the child up. It's such a non story I had to come back to this just to get the taste of it out of my mouth.)

Just missing for ianto to become immortal

UGH! My biggest pet peeve. I don't understand why everyone puts her as second in command. She wasn't second in the show. That was Owen. It would never happen. She would not be given that position brand new to the team. Not over the others that had been there for years. I know she's bossy and thinks she's more important than anyone else, but not s-i-c.

Ya know they could have solved that little problem. Ianto could have been the big spoon.

She says the man that she loves, but she really only loves three hero Jack. When he behaves as she wants him to. Doesn't show his faults. Because she really doesn't love anyone but herself and that includes Rhys. Especially Rhys.

When Gwen huffs about favoritism we ought to have Tosh bring up all the CCTV since Gwen had been there and see who was the favorite. It sure in the hell wasn't Ianto!
