Thank you for fixing the crap they ended the season with and basically ending my interest in the show. What the hell were they thinking with the final and seasons 4 & 5?

Awesome! I was right their with you, pissed off and wanting to throw things. And don't even get me started on the fucking balcony scene in last seasons! Fuck that was stupid! Anyways loved the story any time you want to rant write about stupid fucking tv writer I'll be happy to read it!

This is ABSOLUTELY the way the finale should have gone. Why won't those asswipes learn that what the fans want isn't BAD, it's what would make us HAPPY and MORE inclined to watch. UGH!

LOVE IT! I was as pissed as you were at the end of the episode! I sat looking at my TV screen thinking "What fresh hell?" TPTB were on some other -ish when they wrote that last two minutes. ::sigh:: at least your amazing body of work (well written!) did the show justice. Nice rewrite, except for the profanity and God in the same sentences. Since the writers didn't go this way, Mary's decision should drive Marshall in the other direction, because right now he deserves so much better than her. Plus, because he's always been there, she takes him so much for granted. Need her to see that there's more than one way to lose someone. Thanks for the insight. Wish I had seen some of it on the show.

I LOVE this show...and yeah I was pretty pissed that she ended up with Farber in Mexico...WTF?...Poor Marshall...he totally put himself out there...but I'm glad you wrote this ending...I like it better! :)
