I couldn't put this down. You are an amazing writer. Your plot and characters are fantastic! I couldn't help but think of how much this is like Dexter, but enough different that I was still hooked. Ianto's OCD and counting the seconds of everything was an interesting quirk and mechanic to use. You had me on the edge of my seat wondering what Ianto's plan was and if he or Hart was going to die. I'd love to read more and see how long Ianto can go without killing, or if he can quit for Jack or not. 100% Love it!

This has been so bloody amazing! This story is so unbearably intense that several times I had to walk away for a while and catch my breath before I could continue reading. The way you saw into the mind of the killer is almost as frightening as the killings themselves. I would rank you right up there with Edgar Allan Poe himself for deadly suspense. I thought the first story 'A Day in the Life' was amazing but this one? This ne makes me seriously wonder about your mind! It's so diabolically twisted and so purely evil! Job well done, mate, VERY well done!

I read this story and its prequel some months back and I felt awful that i never left a review so i had to do a search to find it and so glad that i did and put it in my favourites, because i would think about this story long after i read it so i felt that i should look for it and let you know the impact this story left me. thank you for a great excellent story.

I really loved the suspense and pretty much the plot in this, I was hooked the whole way through. Though I'm kinda left with a bittersweet feeling after John dying and getting blamed for something not his fault.

I read all this in one go and I must saying you are an amazing story teller! The characterization was spot on imo and I was completely entertained.

That was absolutely beautiful. The characters' emotions were perfect in response to what was going on, the story was both logical and real enough to pull me in and make me feel with the characters. My only complaint was the occasional typo. If you can come up with more stories of the same caliber, I think you really should consider giving the characters original names and getting published, because this was phenomenal. There wasn't a single idea out of place.

...Wow. You have no idea how...heart-stoppingly amazing and scary this was. At the beginning of this, I couldn't keep reading (I /think/ I was afraid of what Jack would do if he found out it was Ianto...) but after the third chapter, I couldn't stop.

I reaaaaalllly love this. Like, really REALLY love this. Especially the ending, even though I can't believe what happened (JOHN HART. JUST. WHUT. I DON'T EVEN LIKE HIS CHARACTER THAT MUCH!) but I love love LOVE what Ianto said to Jack and how that turned out. It's just amazingly cute and just a little heartbreaking.

Wow. Just wow. You are an amazing writer. I've just stayed up til 2:45am -even though I *promised* myself I would be in bed by 1am tonight -because this was so brilliantly well-written and I couldn't stop. And it even got better as it went on. Your twisted plot, and the dialogue, and the characterisations, you nailed them all, every word. You had a number of different paced scenes, eg, the fast paced fight scene, and Gwen's slower 'seen-through-a-fog' POV afterwards, and each moved as smoothly as if that type of scene was your best area.

I tell you, I didn't read this story -I saw it as a movie in my head. I don't remember what the words on the page (well, screen) looked like, but I could draw you still shots from that movie -Jack huddled over John's body, the three beside the grave -in perfect detail.

Well done. I can't remember when I read something this good on -it's even rare for me to comment at all, and you've drawn me out!

Wow, this story is beautifully twisted. I love it! And I've noticed that there is a parellel between the Master and John in that they are both constants for the Doctor and Jack respectively and that losing John/the Master hurts them even though John/the Master are seen to be the baddies. Wonderful story

OMG I NEARLY HAD A HEART ATTACK WHEN I SAW THE LAST CHAPTER UP! SOOO CLEVER WHAT U DID! I AM BREATHLESS! Still a bit sad that John died and no one will ever know that he was a good guy BUT i would rather that then Ianto dying i would of died inside (again) if he did! Loved it and yes please do a prequel that would be brilliant! Thanks so much for this story i loved it sooo much!

aaagh! I literally gasped, very loudly, when I read the ninth paragraph. my mom gave me a strange look. anguishing ending, yet so right. the truth will never be known. it's torturing me! but it's great that Ianto finally gets it. I did NOT see that coming. can't wait for the one shot. this story just fits together perfectly. great work!
